BF Bad Company Discussion
« on: January 09, 2010, 09:52:15 AM »
Can we move all discussion about this game to a forum so its together.  Some great videos around at the moment showing the game off.  Its gonna have dedicated servers, with lots of options server side for the hosts to change game types etc, however its not going to have any mod tools released.

Ranked servers will prob only be available from certain hosting companies, with Multiplay doing a 32 player server at around ?30 per month.  Whats the interest in this from a clan point of view, I know things are tight for most people at the moment, however split a number of ways this would be cheap as chips as the saying goes?

Up for playing it, but more from a casual group of friends sense. Between WoW and GF, really not enough time for more games :)

I'd be game for it, and should hopefully have some monies to throw at it. I'd say those that played MW2 before Christmas would be up for it as well, esp as BC2 has dedicated servers, but time will tell.

Discovered that my antivirus firewall (nod32) was screwing my friends list in the beta.
Firewall on = no friends showing in list, firewall off = friends back again.

The windows firewall is fine.

Had a go at hardcore last night with KEV and it is bloody damn good.  THere is no minimap, killcam or spotting on the 3d map but the weapons are much stronger, but not so much as to ruin the game.  I'll have another go tonight however I really think its the game mode for me anyway!
