Sounds like people voted to punish you, but didn't vote to punish the other player.

Grrrrrrrr I was on a good kill streak there and got kicked, I suggest setting the auto kick a bit higher or else turn off the punish cause every frigging dickhead just punishes instantly even though it's an accidental tk damn muppets
