Looks like it might be worth a punt, somewhere around ?20 I think.  Releases tomorrow.  Anyone else up for a bit of fun, should be faster than Dayz too as map is smaller.

I'll most likely be picking up H1Z1 this weekend. Dear TiGers, can we all get H1Z1 and run around like a pack of wolves like we did in DayZ? awhhhhhh yeahhh.

well its not off to a good start, the server selection screen doesn't work :)

I assume you guys will be on the PvP server, think there's two looking at the b0rked selection page.

Finally on, picked "unhinged" cos I liked the name and it had a medium population.

Anyone played this?  Seems like its an arcade version of Dayz.  That's prob a good thing IMO!

Tried it a few times, even after they tried to tweak the health/hydration and loot spawn issues and its not great if truth be told.  Its a million miles away from Dayz, even with Dayz' faults.  I've asked for a refund.

tbh I didn't find it too bad, but the queue got on my wick.
Popped for a refund through steam, will give it a go again when its release at which point its going to be free to play anyway.
No point paying for the privilege to test it for them.

Aye its not giving anything that Dayz cant already give, maybe the crafting is a bit different but thats really about it.

You can refund this in Steam :

1.       Log into Steam

2.       Go to Account Details

3.       Go to Store Transactions

a.       Find your purchase of H1Z1 in the Store transaction and click on the ?Request a Refund? link.

I played it for about an hour. Have not been able to get on since , been working.

I am impressed with how quick the devs are fixing issues are they are reported and releasing patches. Some good potential there.
