Cherno Lockdown. Could be a bit of craic.. take a look

Greetings Grumpy survivors.

Cherno is a disaster zone. Bandits, cannibals and the infected have plagued the good city for too long. It's time to restore some grumpy order to the place.

The GoGs will be taking control of Cherno for the night, while the server is open to the public. We will be in and around Cherno watching the hotspots and high traffic routes in and out of the city, and we will be enforcing the following rules:

    1. No guns in Cherno (except for us GoGs, obviously!) Any armed players in Cherno will be shot on sight. Even if the gun is on their back or in their bag.
    2. Any seemingly unarmed players in Cherno must be stopped and searched. If unarmed, they can go on their way. If they are armed, see rule 1.

Gentlemen, one more rule, just for us: No shooting freshies! This is a military curfew, not a mass murder! We're here to restore order.

Server messages will inform the population that Cherno is under curfew and that anybody seen carrying a gun (in hands or on their back) will be shot on sight. Hopefully, this will bring the entire population to us.

So go find yourself a weapon on the GoG DayZ server and get to Cherno!

The server will be locked at 20:45 UK Time so we can get into position before the event starts. GoG members, please be in the Events channel on TS by this time.

NON-MEMBERS: Thanks for playing! Last time was a lot of fun. Our teamspeak server (85.236.100.125:11407) will have a few dedicated channels added to the public area for anyone taking part in the event to use as they wish.

EVERYBODY: Thinking of going 1pp for this event - would appreciate it if people could leave their preference in a reply to this thread. We'll go with what the majority want.

Looks like they're up for an informal skirmish tonight in Cherno.

If no guns, what do you do to the zombies? And to other people?

We have 4 or 5 members that play every night, if we're not on the GoG server, drop us a message via our website or join our teamspeak (details on the website).
